Social Media Marketing Tools For Your Business

Social Media Marketing Tools For Your Business

When it comes to social media your business shouldn’t suffer! There are many tools out there that will dramatically help you. There are many tools out there but what should you really be using?

Social Media Plan
Firstly before you start using social media for your business you need to have a plan. With no plan you’re simply setting yourself up to fail. Your plan should include:

  • Determine your business objectives for social media (What do you want to achieve?)
  • What platforms you plan to use (Stake your turf, get on the main ones but dont neglect them. If you can only manage 1-2 with 100% effort do that. Its much better than having heaps but barely being interactive on them.
  • What content you will post
  • When you post that content (See post planner below)
  • Who is your audience
  • MEASURE YOUR RESULTS! How will you know whats working if you don’t measure what you do. This actually brings me on to other tools (See below)

Hootsuite
Possibly the best tool you can have to manage multiple social media accounts. Hootsuite allows you to manage and track all of your social platforms. All thought it is the best out there they can sting you with the pricing. Not the monthly fee’s as they are quiet reasonable, however to get reports on your data can really start to hurt if you’re a small business.

KingLinkr
KingLinkr is fairly new but a tool you shouldn’t miss out on. Basically allows you to have one URL to promote all of your social media networks. Once this site gets going you will be able to search anyone and any business and find all of their accounts on social networks. I have seen people use this on business cards, instead of putting facebook, instagram and twitter they simply used their KingLinkr account and clients could find all of their networks from the one site. Paid users can track clicks on each link for a one time fee of $5.

Post Planner
I recently discovered Post Planner, an app built inside Facebook that offers a value-packed dashboard to help you manage and enhance your Facebook strategy. Post Planner not only allows you to schedule updates in advance, it also gives you an entire list of status ideas, access to the most viral posts on Facebook and insights on trending content based on your industry. It even has free training to help you maximize your presence on Facebook.

Social Rank
Your Social Rank groups your best followers, most engaged and most valuable. From this information, businesses can take extra care of valuable customers. Social Rank generates a free report on the day of sign up.

LikeAlyzer
As the name suggests, LikeAlyzer analyzes Facebook pages, generating reports highlighting areas for improvement. This tool is an invaluable resource for businesses new to social media. The page-rank section allows business to see how they stack up against similar brands and by industry standards.
